George Washingmachine & Monica Trapaga
George Washingmachine is a world class jazz musician and a regular performer in Bellingen, both at the annual Jazz and Blues Festival and monthly Jazz Society gigs. When it comes to knuckle-busting feats on a violin, George doesn’t play second fiddle to anyone – and George’s seductively smoochy vocals have made him a highly sought after entertainer. Working the jazz traps of Sydney for years, George is a long time member of the ‘Bonza Vista Social Club’ up their with legendary lights such as James Morrison, Bob Barnard, Ian Date, Dan Barnett and Monica Trapaga. He teams up this year with Monica Trapaga on vocals, Peter Baylor from Melbourne on guitar and Ashley Turner on dbl bass.
