Continental Robert and the Rinky Dinks

After building a big following around Australia with their wild live show, they raced to the top of the charts with the Susz penned composition, Soul Kinda Feeling. The record became the biggest selling, Australian produced single of the year, also winning the Gold APRA award of 1985 for most played record of the year.

In 1988 he formed the Mighty Reapers a blues and soul band that spanned the 90s with their funky brand of rhythm’n’blues. He went on to form The Continental Blues Party – specialising in soul, blues and down home funk – who performed at the 2005 Bellingen Jazz & Blues Festival.

In his latest incarnation, we welcome him back with the Rinky Dinks, featuring; Antero Ceschin – drums & vocals, Rowan Lane – bass & vocals, Andrew Reid – guitar & vocals Sam Boyd – organ… & of course Continental Robert singing & blowing harmonica to wow the crowds!!
