Ignacio was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He studied Jazz and MPB at the prestigious Conservatóry Dr. Carlos de Campos in Tatuí and arrived in Australia in 1999 directing the international extravagant Brazilian stage production Oba Oba. In Australia he has performed with all major Latin American bands, produced upcoming artists and composed the music for the TV show Cooking for Kids with Luis for Nickelodeon Australia. Ignacio currently divides his time between his own group and the multi-award winning contemporary world Jazz group Tigramuna.
